PMWI fabricating almost a mile of mesh guard rail along Schuylkill Banks Trail Bridge

April 4, 2024

Pleasant Mount Welding, Inc. continues to work on a $1.35M contract to fabricate and supply aluminum mesh guard rail for the PA DOT Schuylkill Banks Trail. The project includes nearly 4,000 LF of rail along the walking trail that runs along the historic Schuylkill River in Philadelphia. Check out some photos above.

Protecting Our Valley from the Flood of 2011

This article was published after flood waters reached record levels on September 9, 2011 in the Susquehanna River. The employees of PMWI are very proud of their accomplishments in constructing the Susquehanna River flood gates. The  flood protection system made national news, including live reports from The Weather Channel.
