This article was published after flood waters reached record levels on September 9, 2011 in the Susquehanna River. The employees of PMWI are very proud of their accomplishments in constructing the Susquehanna River flood gates. The flood gates made national news, including live reports from The Weather Channel.

Our flood protection systems include flood gates that can be closed in times of emergency, bar screens and trash racks for collecting any debris from getting downstream.
